September 2022

Kersia signs a joint-venture agreement with Klenzan #2 “pure player” in hygiene solutions on the Chinese food and beverage market. This agreement strengthens Kersia’s international positioning and opens the door to China. 

February 2022

Kersia signs an exclusive agreement to acquire a majority stake in Kalinisan Chemicals Corporation, a major player in the Philippines hygiene market for fast food and food & beverages. Kersia makes Kalinisan a key pillar of its development strategy in Southeast Asia. 

October 2021

Kersia signs an exclusive agreement to acquire a majority stake in AgroChem, and continues its development in the U.S. dairy hygiene market, strengthening and diversifying its activities in the United States.

May 2021

Kersia acquires Bioarmor, to strengthen its animal welfare offering. This acquisition enhances Kersia’s multi-species, multi-product offering and geographical coverage, particularly in Asia, the Middle East and South America. 

July 2021

Kersia pursues its development by penetrating the Scandinavian food and beverage sector with the acquisition of IWAB.  This integration completes Kersia’s local organization with long experience in the agricultural sector, and enables us to cover the food safety sector from farm to fork in Scandinavian countries.

After an initial LBO alongside Ardian, the group is now attached to the investment company IK Investment Partners. Alongside IK Investment Partners, Kersia pursues its strategy of growth and consolidation in the fork-to-fork food safety sector. 

December 2020

Kersia acquires Sopura, a specialist in the food and brewing industry.  In addition to strategic geographic complementarities, notably in Asia-Pacific and Africa, this acquisition strengthens Kersia’s presence in the beverage market and considerably enhances the Group’s expertise in water treatment. 

May 2020

Kersia acquires Holchem, a leading provider of hygiene and food safety solutions and technology in the UK. A large majority of Holchem’s sales are directed to the food, beverage and dairy industries, with additional sales to the food service, retail, institutional and farm sectors. Holchem operates from two industrial sites located in Bury and Liphook, primarily serving the UK market. With this important milestone, Kersia becomes a leader in the UK hygiene sector and the second largest player in Europe.

July 2019

Kersia acquires Choisy Laboratories a leading developer and manufacturer of chemical, biotechnological and biosecurity hygiene solutions based in Canada. This transaction grows Kersia’s geographical footprint in North America, allowing the company to expand its presence in new sub-segments and to acquire new technologies.
