April 2025

Kersia is continuing its global development by acquiring a majority stake in the family business Ikochimiki, a leading player in the Greek market for biosecurity solutions in the food industry and food service areas. This acquisition allows the group to strengthen its presence in the Balkans and to join the top 3 Greek players in this sector, thus consolidating its activities throughout the food chain. At the same time, Kersia is joining forces with Beta Procesos, a leading independent and family-owned company in the Mexican agri-food and food service. With an extensive national network, this manufacturer and distributor of detergent and disinfectant products opens up new growth prospects for Kersia on the Central American continent.

January 2025

The construction of our new Center of Excellence is officially underway! Located in Belgium, this state-of-the-art facility will be an innovation hub for cutting-edge research, collaboration, training and technological advancement. The end of the work is scheduled for the beginning of 2026.

October 2024

Creation of our center specialising in dietary supplements in Plaintel – France. This strategic combination of our FEED activities strengthens our production capabilities, and also our commitment to providing first-class dietary supplements to our customers.

September 2024

Kersia co-founded the Pioneering Safe Food association with three other major food safety players. The aim is to commit together to addressing the long-term problem of food safety due to climate change and population growth.

September 2023

Kersia announces the arrival of Prodhynet within the Kersia group. An independent SME based in Brittany-France, specialist in the manufacture of detergent and cleaning solutions since 1992, Prodhynet is a recognized player at the local and national level.

September 2022

Kersia signs a joint-venture agreement with Klenzan #2 “pure player” in hygiene solutions on the Chinese food and beverage market. This agreement strengthens Kersia’s international positioning and opens the door to China. 

February 2022

Kersia signs an exclusive agreement to acquire a majority stake in Kalinisan Chemicals Corporation, a major player in the Philippines hygiene market for fast food and food & beverages. Kersia makes Kalinisan a key pillar of its development strategy in Southeast Asia. 

October 2021

Kersia signs an exclusive agreement to acquire a majority stake in AgroChem, and continues its development in the U.S. dairy hygiene market, strengthening and diversifying its activities in the United States.

May 2021

Kersia acquires Bioarmor, to strengthen its animal welfare offering. This acquisition enhances Kersia’s multi-species, multi-product offering and geographical coverage, particularly in Asia, the Middle East and South America. 

July 2021

Kersia pursues its development by penetrating the Scandinavian food and beverage sector with the acquisition of IWAB.  This integration completes Kersia’s local organization with long experience in the agricultural sector, and enables us to cover the food safety sector from farm to fork in Scandinavian countries.
