Kersia concludes a JV with Klenzan in China
As a global leader in food safety, Kersia continues its international expansion through concluding a JV with the second largest hygiene pure player within the Chinese Food and Beverage hygiene market, Klenzan. With this important milestone, Kersia continues its ambitious international development plans while strengthening its services to current customers.
Kersia has developed a complete and unique offering in the global food and agricultural hygiene markets and continues its growth on the global market. With this strategic cooperation confirms Kersia’s ambition to become the world leader in food safety from farm to fork. Kersia will have a presence in over in over 120 countries, with a total workforce of 2.200 and a turnover of 550 million euros.
A shared value partnership and synergies opportunities
This new partnership is based on the great potential for synergies between the two entities; both of which have geographical, business, industrial and innovation complementarities. They also share deeply rooted common values that facilitate the combination of their businesses.
Klenzan, based in Shanghai, is a Chinese company that specialises in cleaning and sanitation applications in the food industry by using the most advanced global technologies. Since its inception in 2007, Klenzan has grown to become the second leading chinese food safety pure player with blue- chip customers. The company predominately operates in the Food and Beverage sector with strong expertise in dairy processing and soft drinks and, to a lesser extent, in institutional markets.
With two manufacturing plants in the Shanghai and Beijing areas, Klenzan will be a key element of the Kersia platform in China / Asia, enabling proximity with both regional customers and international accounts.
