Kersia strengthens its presence in Eastern Europe by acquiring the Food & Beverage business of the Polish company Radex. 

 

Kersia announces the acquisition of the Food & Beverage business of Radex, representing estimated revenues of €9.5 million in FY 2024.
This strategic transaction supports the Group’s strong growth momentum, with Kersia reporting €695 million in revenues, and further consolidates its position in Eastern Europe and on the Polish food hygiene market, particularly in the meat processing segment.

Founded in 1989, Radex is a Polish family-owned company recognized for its comprehensive hygiene solutions for the food industry. The cleaning and disinfection activity is supported by a dedicated sales team of 14 employees, serving a customer base of 750 clients.

Strong strategic complementarities

Renowned for the performance and reliability of its solutions, Radex’s F&B business comprises a portfolio of approximately 220 products, with an average production volume of around 700 tons per month. It benefits from strong brand recognition on the Polish market, particularly in the meat industry.

This acquisition highlights the strong strategic fit between Kersia and Radex’s F&B business, in terms of product portfolio, customer coverage and technical capabilities. It will enable Kersia to significantly strengthen its position in Eastern Europe and internationally, while accelerating its development across key food industry segments, including meat processing, dairy and breweries.

During the transition period, Radex will support Kersia Poland’s team ensuring full operational continuity. In the longer term, Kersia plans to further develop cooperation with Radex, particularly in equipment and installation activities, in Eastern Europe and internationally.

 

With this transaction, Kersia continues to pursue its disciplined growth strategy which focuses on acquiring high-value assets in the food safety market, with strong growth potential worldwide.
