April 2025<\/h2>

Kersia is continuing its global development by acquiring a majority stake in the family business Ikochimiki, a leading player in the Greek market for biosecurity solutions in the food industry and food service areas. This acquisition allows the group to strengthen its presence in the Balkans and to join the top 3 Greek players in this sector, thus consolidating its activities throughout the food chain. <\/p>\n

At the same time, Kersia is joining forces with Beta Procesos, a leading independent and family-owned company in the Mexican agri-food and food service. With an extensive national network, this manufacturer and distributor of detergent and disinfectant products opens up new growth prospects for Kersia on the Central American continent.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\r\n

Kersia acquires Holchem, a leading provider of hygiene and food safety solutions and technology in the UK.<\/p>\n

A large majority of Holchem\u2019s sales are directed to the food, beverage and dairy industries, with additional sales to the food service, retail, institutional and farm sectors.<\/p>\n

Holchem operates from two industrial sites located in Bury and Liphook, primarily serving the UK market.<\/p>\n

With this important milestone, Kersia becomes a leader in the UK hygiene sector and the second largest player in Europe.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\r\n

July 2019<\/h2>

Kersia acquires Choisy Laboratories a leading developer and manufacturer of chemical, biotechnological and biosecurity hygiene solutions based in Canada.<\/p>\n

This transaction grows Kersia\u2019s geographical footprint in North America, allowing the company to expand its presence in new sub-segments and to acquire new technologies.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\r\n

Kilco joined Kersia Group. This company offer to Kersia a strong presence in UK \u2013 Ireland and will accelerate the P&P Development range all over the world. <\/p>\n

Kilco has been a family owned company since 1953 and has grown from a small local firm to a multi-national business, with manufacturing plants in Mallusk in Ireland and Lockerbie in Scotland exporting to 70 countries around the world. Their innovative research leads the industry, creating products that are used around the world to enhance biosecurity within the food chain, from farm to fork.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\r\n

A new name for a group mostly dedicated to food safety.<\/p>\n

After gradually coming together over the past 15 months, Hypred, Anti-Germ, Medentech, LCB Food Safety and G3 have adopted a unique name* – Kersia – and a common banner for a shared mission: inventing a food safe world.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\r\n

G3 joins the group. This company offer to Kersia its own capacity to produce locally in Brazil, ranges of product. <\/p>\n

G3 Qu\u00edmica, established in 2011, is a family business with 30 employees located in Lajeado, and specialized in the production and marketing of hygiene and disinfection products, mainly for dairy farms.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\r\n

August 2017<\/h2>

LCB Food Safety joins the group. This acquisition marks a significant new stage in the development of the group, providing access to new markets thanks to its high value-added products based around Ultradiffusion\u00ae, an Innovative and unique technology. <\/p>\n

Created in 1963, LCB Food Safety is the world leader in Dry Aerial Surface Disinfection.<\/p>\n

LCB Food Safety acts as a food safety expert and develops solutions which reduce waste, improving animal well-being while optimizing competitiveness in the value chain, from farm to fork.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\r\n

Anti-Germ joined the group in order to create the worldwide provider of disinfection, hygiene and animal supplement solutions to the food and agricultural Industry.
