Gelegentlich k\u00f6nnen sich auch S\u00e4ugetiere einschlie\u00dflich des Menschen mit dem Vogelgrippe-Virus anstecken (H5N1 und H7N9 k\u00f6nnen beim Menschen beispielsweise zu t\u00f6dlichen genutzte Vogelarten (H\u00fchner, Puten, Wachteln usw.) sowie als Haustiere gehaltene V\u00f6gel und Wildv\u00f6gel erkranken k\u00f6nnen.\u00a0 Gelegentlich k\u00f6nnen sich auch S\u00e4ugetiere einschlie\u00dflich des Menschen mit dem Vogelgrippe-Virus anstecken. Obwohl die meisten AI-Viren nicht auf den Menschen \u00fcbertragbar sind, haben einige davon \u2013 wie das H5N1 und das H7N9 \u2013 bereits zu t\u00f6dlichen Infektionen gef\u00fchrt.<\/p>\n<p>Es gibt zahlreiche AI-Virusst\u00e4mme, die sich je nach Schweregrad der Erkrankung des Gefl\u00fcgels in zwei Kategorien unterteilen lassen:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>niedrig-pathogene (LPAI) St\u00e4mme \u2192 mit wenigen oder keinen klinischen Symptomen bei Gefl\u00fcgel<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>hoch-pathogene (HPAI) St\u00e4mme k\u00f6nnen schwergradige klinische Symptome und eine potenziell hohe Sterberate bei Gefl\u00fcgel verursachen<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Zum heutigen Stand werden nat\u00fcrlich vorkommende, hoch-pathogene Vogelgrippe A-Viren, die zu akuten klinischen Erkrankungen bei Gefl\u00fcgel f\u00fchren, nur mit <b>den Unterarten H5 und H7 assoziiert <\/b>(z.\u00a0B.
